Attic grow /w light mover Any thoughts?

I plan on setting up a light mover for my flowering area. I have 3 600W air cooled HPS’s. My flowering area is 3’- x 13’-15’. I am going to put all three lights on my track. Any suggestions on how long I should make it (between 13 and 15 feet)? How far apart should I space the bulbs? I was thinking I probably don’t want the bulbs to travel more than 4’ from the ends. Any thoughts on this?

I am also going to explain more of my setup. Any comments, advice or tips will be appreciated. If you would like to know something else just ask.

My room is in an attic so I don’t have much head room. I have bought 3x3 tables already. Using these tables (with reservoirs underneath) my plants need to finish at 20”. This would leave about 10” to the glass of my lights. I plan on having 3 tables and getting a harvest every 3 weeks or less. I will be flowering right after my clones root. How short can I make this happen? Will I be able to finish at 20” without to much LST? My 3 tables will take up about 10’6”. I would then like to have a couple feet for a few 5 gallon bucket DWC. I would be able to use this to flower mothers and or other plants. These plants could grow to 26” or so.

Also
I will be running a drip system for each table.
I have an AC. I should be able to keep a steady temp. year round.
I have a CO2 generator. I will keep CO2 ppm. around 1200-1500 during the “day” only.
I will have a small fan (6” inline) blowing fresh air in. Also a small fan will be blowing my AC exhaust out. This fan will be running even when the AC is off. So I will have a small but steady flow of fresh air.
I have one 400W MH for mothers. I will root 8 cuttings at a time. After rooted I will put them straight into flower.

Any thoughts? I am most concerned with my light mover and how I should set it up. How far away from each end should I let my light travel?

dont wast your time .. you will get enough coverage without the mover and with a mover when the light is at one end the other end gets no coverage and vise versa so you dont really gain anything in my opinion by adding the mover except 1 more very expensive thing to break.

I have already bought it. I liked the idea because I could get more coverage of intense light. I also need as much height as I can get. I should be able to keep my canopy a little closer to the light with the mover. I could set it up so it only moves 2 feet or so. Anyone think this is a good idea?

Thanks for the reply Phinxter

with sealed air cooled hoods you should be able to keep the lights within 4 inches of your plants . i have a 1000 watt HPS with a sealed air cooled hood and i keep it 4 inches from my canopy.
if you already have the mover you may as well use it to your best advantage and if it seems to slow growth you can always turn it off later . it may help keep your canopy even wich yes will allow the light to be closer to all plants on average. so you may find some advantage to it. i just think the lumens per hour will be exactly the same with or without the mover because when you gain in 1 area you will lose in another.
keep me posted as to how it works ... you might change my mind with some killer results

I knew sealed air cooled lights would let you move the light closer but fuck 4” wow. This is great news for me. If this is the case I have another 6” of growth!! How cold of air can I draw in to cool my lamps? In the winter will I be able to draw air from outside?
