From 2 LB bags of bloom being solid as a rock to ml/gal rates being totally inaccurate by up to 1.0 EC (500 PPM) this line really disappointed me.
I have used Jack's and MaxiBloom with no problems, quite accurate measuring & mixing results. Athena is worlds off and for a 2 part it makes it so you have to do a 40/60 ratio by solution EC not by grams or ml/gal of concentrate.
I was using MaxiBloom for the last few months now and have only had issues with pH crash in coco mid/late bloom but I also use RO water which is known to cause this issue due to lack of buffers.
Is anyone else having issues with their ml/gal recommendations? I carefully mixed 2 lbs to a gallon (4 lbs total for 2 gallons of solution @ 2lb/gal), made sure to add 1.5 gallons, mix then fill the rest the way to 2 gallon marker on measure master bucket with RO. Shot for the 3.0 Target EC using their measurements and the EC was 1.0 short after mixing.
This means forget any price per/gallon math they advertise. You are getting way less for your money than you think.
THOUGHTS? Also, why is it possible to feed 3.0 EC start to finish? I haven't used any other fertilizer that wouldn't roast plants doing that.
