are T12's good or T 8's better? i know t5's are the best

i use 65 watt cfls right now for vegging by the heat is taking its toll on them and i wanna switch too 4 footers t5's are to much for me and they dont have them at mt heard wear store so its t12s or 18 both are high out put are come in cool and worm colors but whats better? i wanna switch out my 4 65clfs for 4, 4 footers its this a good idea or should i just vent the room better?

I tried using T12 tubes. Even on top of the plants I have lots of stretching.
Using my moisture/light meter to check the intensity of the lights, it showed very little even when held against the bulbs.

I bought one T5 tube setup for my sprouts and it shows it puts out A LOT more usable light than the two T12s I was trying with. T12s hardly moves the meter.

Go with 30 watt CFLs, 2 of them actually give off more light than one 60 watter.

I use two 1" T12s for cloning and seedlings and ive got veg down to four 30 watt CFLs with 2 26 watt CFLs. The more space you have between your ceiling and the lights, the better for heat dissipation. I also have a 2" hole cut in the top of the veg cabinet to vent heat.

Here is a month under 2 4' T12's... Picture is from my first grow BTW and this was the best plant. I believe this is a month old at the time maybe a little bit longer. Northern Lights

t12 works superb..my first indoor went down with them, also mixed in some 26 watter cfls and a 70 w hps...Lets just say i will go back with them t 12 all the way

I used the T12s because I got the reflectors and grow-lux bulbs for free from a friend. They worked great but Ive heard that T5's are a lot more efficient for light output

Is the t# not just bulb diameter,whatever pumps the most lumens ,plant and aquarium bulbs from wal-mart work great 3 bucks each
