Are my plants ready to harvest? Trichomes

Hello guys,

I'm doing a round of: black domina x blue dream (Spanish seeds) .
I haven't harvest in a very long time.
I am trying again, this is day 51 into flowering.
Has anyone done this strain before or similar and can give me some advice please.

Do the trichomes look ready? I think there are still a few clear ones left not sure if I want any amber? This is hybrid indica what percentages should I be aiming for?

Thanks In advance for your help

It looks like it would just dry down to a bunch of hairs at this point. From what I can see it looks happy enough but nowhere near ready for chop. Do you have any shots zoomed out some?

I always go for 10% amber. That way any clear trichomes towards the bottom gets a chances to get cloudy. Clear Trichomes gives you a head high where amber is going to put you to sleep. It's all up to you.

It was too early. I let them grow a little longer. Currently week 9 of flowering.

Please share your thoughts. I personally think not enough amber mostly milkly trichomes

Closer pics of buds … triches are just one part of harvest equation.

Triches will vary in maturity in different locations -
‘That myth of chopping based on some magic ratio of amber vs. cloudy is not too reliable.
You want uniform maturity over flowering bud. Large average percentage of pistil color off and recede / bulk / hardening off.

Way too easy to pull a plant early over pulling “ too late “.
Plant finishes when it finishes - regardless of calendar week or breeder harvest hype.
