Hello all, I am new to this and was wondering if anyone can give me some input on how my seedlings are doing.

- 60 hrs after germinated seed was planted
- organic black earth soil
- water with 1 oz shot glass of distilled mineral water 2x daily
- and mist with spray bottle every 1 - 2 hrs
- average temp for root base 23 - 27 deg C
- lighting with 2x 23w 5000k CFL's + 1x 42w (150) 6500k CFL
- 1x 1000w MH for when they are big enough
- 1x 1000w HPS for flower time
- 24 hr light cycle

If anyone could give me some helpful tips it would be greatly appreciated!

looking good so far. stop drowning them though. weed likes to get a big watering and then dry out almost completely before being watered again, if you have good quality soil you shouldnt need to water more then once or twice a week depending on your pot size.
misting your seeds during germination is definatly the right thing to do. but now that they have sprouted they need to be forced to search for water so there roots grow deep and strong.

Looking good. Seems like you've got a pretty solid plan in place. The only suggestion I would make is not to water so frequently. I know you're only giving it a little bit at a time, but you want the soil to dry out a bit before you wet it again. If it stays constantly saturated you're going to open yourself up to mold/rot issues. Little babies are especially prone to getting floppy stems and falling over dead quicker than you can say "I think I gave it too much water." Best of luck!

Increase the number of 6500K CFL lights. One for each plant if possible. If not then use splitters and keep the light right on top of the seedling.

also in your first pic it looks like its 2 plants in 1 pot, you need to get each into its own containor before they strangle each other

Slide them in a solo cup in a few days. I don't mean transplant just put your peat pot in a plastic cup. All this does is help with moisture control.

Yer little plants look fine by the way.

i just exchanged the 2x 5000k cfls for 2x 6500k, so now i have

- 2x 6500k 23w (100w)
- 1x 6500k 42w (150w)

(covering 12 seedlings)

at what point in time will the plants require more light and be able to handle the 1000w Metal Halide?

Thanks!
