Are 600w CFLs the only way to grow the best and do I need more spectrums of light?

Thinking about moving indoors after always worrying about my outdoor plants and I want to know what the optimal lighting and maybe one or two that would work well for around 50 dollars. If this is at all possible.

i doubt you will be happy with $50 in lights...
i don't think 600w cfls are a thing...you thinking of 600w hps?
check on craigslist...might be able to score a hid for $100...
inside is fucking expensive... you will probably need a inline fan to cool of the light....

recommend 600w HPS for flowering

can be bought on CL, Ebay, or Amazon for cheap. just have to shop around
