Are 5 inches better than 4?

I have 17 day old babies that at about 5 in but the leaves just don't seem to be growing fast. they are mostly stem, and flemsy at that. I've seen many a pic of 17 day old plants and they all seem to have a bigger set of leaves than mine. Are mine special or am I Fing up somewhere?

you prolly need more light..or that strain of weed grows slower or something

i have 3 fluros 24 in, just simple stuff but they were under only 1 for about 13 days

ya got a fan on it and letting it dry out

small closet, scotts premium soil...which i know is shit, but they took off well enough

How high's the light from the plant?

Lights too puny, less inches there and more girth is what you probably really need.
