AQUAPONICS pt2+ Alligator

The last system didnt seem to work well so i decided to redo my system. The system is simple. The fish/alligator poop is sucked out of the tank and pumped into the wooden plantbed. The wooden plantbed has holes in the bottom so the water drips back into the tank. The plants will take the nutrients/fish poop and clean water will drip back into the tank. Above the plantbed is a 4' fluorescent worklight with 2 cool white 40watt bulbs. Also there is a soft white 75watt fluorescent light on the side for light on the side of the plant. Today was my first day having the system back up and Ive just planted a seed in the middle of the plantbed. Will it work?? only time will tell. but your opinion will help. thanks

i have my lights cycle set for 20 on 4 off ...... i plan on keep it thru out it veg cycle approximately 40 days and then i want to switch it to its flowering stage with 12 on 12 off......if you have any opinions please give me your advice thanks alot
