Aqua Globe

Taking a a trip this week for 12 days and im not too keen on letting anyone know about my darlings in the yard. Has anyone used these to keep a decent amount of water available? Ive heard of the wick method but i don't want to build anything and i already have these lying around. Thx ahead of time.

Well from what the commercial states they do work, i've never tried it myself though.

ok well i'll try one out

i've used aqua globe's myself.
the thing is that you have to exchange the water instead of topping it off.
light coming through the clear glass will taint the water.
best thing is to cover the globe up. (no light penetration)
