Anyone using Mother Earth Coco/Perlite?

If so any tips on feeding? Type of container? Water type? Do you water to runoff or just add a little bit to make it moist? PPM for clones and @ 4 weeks in? What nutes to use for this type of mix?

What I have to use: 1 gallon plastic pots, R/O water and up to 500 watts of led in a 4 x 4 tent.

What I need: New food and method of feeding.

I tried this method before and failed. Not sure what I did wrong. Any help appreciated

I use their dry bricks, never tried the loose mix, but it's probably similar stuff.
I water til runoff and I start around 350 ppm for cuttings and seedlings, then slowly increase, maxibloom works, also used the gh liquid trio in it.

Will you be using a system to automate feedings? I only ask because 1 gallon pots will require several feeds per day once the plants get large, probably 3 at a minimum, but since that mix is so light, you might need 5 feeds. I usually start seedlings at .8 of Maxigrow, but my current seedlings I've fed with .9 EC from day 1 and they're growing fast with a tiny bit of tip burn. It's just easier to not need to mix multiple solutions so I thought I'd try the stronger mix I use for keepers. I might still lower it down, but if not, I'll keep it the same through veg, then go to 1 to 1.2 during the flowering phase. I like 50/50 Maxi Grow/Bloom in flower, and I lower the ec a bit in the final weeks. Feed to plenty of runoff every time you feed, especially if you're new to coco-it will prevent a lot of problems. I use 6.3 ph all the way through.

A useful site but I disagree with some statements on that page.

"Any quality cannabis nutrients made for hydroponics will work well as long as you also use a Cal-Mag supplement."
Not true. It depends on the nutes and water used. I've run MegaCrop or Jacks with RO, no calmag added.

"I recommend giving plain water every other watering to prevent nutrient buildup."
Feed to run-off. Never use plain water with coco, especially RO or distilled.

Edit:
Maybe he has to add calmag because he's stripping cal and mag from the coco with plain water!

Thanks for all the replies. BK has suggested Floraflex 2 part. I do not have an automated system. The first time I tried Mother Earth it didn't dry for days. I was totally confused. No growth at all.

I would like to try it one more time in just a few plants to see what happens.

FWIW, People say you can't go wrong with Maxi Grow/Bloom and many run the bloom start to Finish. It's a simple one part formula, 2.2 pounds on amzon/ebay for $16 USD.

OK, getting a few bags of Mother Earth coco/perlite. Getting the small bags of Maxigrow and bloom to try out. No one carries Floraflex in my area. Will water until runoff according to the GH feed schedule or close to it. See what happens in a few days. Will let you know
Most feed charts are too hot. Take note of Rurumo's post and follow the experienced growers here before any feed chart! I still have a LOT to learn, but I'd rather have a deficiency than a lockout.

if you are gonna do mulit-feeds per day, i'd probably stay not muhc more than 1 to 1.2EC my last run i fed at 0.8Ec and 0.2 of that was my well water
