What up people? I am currently on day 12 of flower(LSD&BlueMystic). My nute line up is coco, canna coco a&b, Epsom salt, cannazyme, rhizotonic and just started the hammerhead pk4/10 yesterday. I have atami bloombastic to use during weeks 4-6 of flowering as per the bottle. I also run co2 in my cabinet. Just wondering if anyone has used the hammerhead and the bloombastic. Any advice for a newbie to these nutes? Anyone have any thoughts on my nute lineup? Am I missing anything? Is it overkill? Is there a problem with this mix of nutes. Thanks and +rep to those who feel the need to help out a novice! :joint:

I've read some reviews on Hammerhead, so I'll pass those along. I WISH I have firsthand experience, but I'm happy with my current AN setup, so I don't want to change things up just yet.

Here's one review I found online:

When Advanced Nutrients heard their competitors were making boosters featuring high doses of Phosphorus(P) and Potassium (K), they wanted to know if these dose ratios helped make bigger and better flowers. They didn’t.

In fact, testing showed that their 13-14 ratios actually reduced bloom weight, size and quality. Worse yet, their products helped create ideal conditions for growth of one of the plant diseases you most hate to see: gray mold.

Their scientists are chronically dedicated to giving you the best harvests, so they figured out that hydroponics plants you grow need large amounts of K, not large amounts of P.

Only with correct ratios of K and P found in Hammerhead will your plants produce the impressive harvests you seek without providing fuel for gray molds that can destroy a harvest overnight.

Hammerhead PK 9/18 is the world’s best potassium-phosphorus booster formula. It feeds specially blended, superior-sourced nutrients in just the right ratio so your plants absorb what they need to make the best fruits and blooms.

PK 9/18 lessens incidence of gray mold and other pathogenic attackers that eat crops in late harvest cycle. Other products contain the wrong ratios of potassium and phosphorus that actually reduce yield and cause disease conditions.

When you use our Hammerhead PK 9/18, you get the correct ratio of P and K, from superior source materials, guaranteed to increase harvest size and quality more than any other potassium-phosphorus product.

According to scientific studies done in a wide variety of hydroponics gardens, 6-12 is the correct bloom-stimulating ratio that produces bigger flowers from hydroponics gardening. And that's exactly why HAMMERHEAD™ contains this "perfect" 6-12 ratio.
Along with increasing the size, weight and density of your flowers, HAMMERHEAD™'s precise combination, type and ratio of potassium, phosphorus and magnesium has been proven to increase essential oils, aroma, and potency in hydroponics crops.

Hope that helps!

ive used bloombastic but not hammerhead. from my experience bloombastic is a great finisher/hardener. it really makes the crystals pile on like crazy and will make ur bud super hard. wouldnt use it all the way through flower though. i use big bud then switch to bloombastic at week 5 or 6. i used bloombastic all the way through flower 1 time and my yield suffered greatly. when using big bud first then switching to bloombastic i added 1.5lbs to my total harvest.

Also did a little research on the Hammerhead because i was thinking about using it. Asked my hydro guy about it and he said it can be used in conjuction with Big Bug. he said Big Bud is to swell your buds and the hammerhead is for the essential oils/resins. dont know how reliable his information is but i thought id pass it along anyways. maybe someone that knows a little more about it can chime in and respond.

I have experience with PK 13/14, not the Hammerhead tho. I just bought the Bloombastic recently to substitute it for the expensive Canna Bloom. The lady at my local hydro shop explained that Bloombastic would not only substitute the Bloom, but the PK 13/14 as well. She said to use A/B, Rhizo, Cannazym, and Bloombastic. Not sure if it helps bro... But I will let you know the results since I have experience in growing exclusively in Canna COCO products and will def tell any difference

Hey thanks for the feedback. We got the same lineup going bro. I'm using the coco a&b rhizotonic cannazyme and the bloombastic. Now I have the hammerhead just sitting around. Lol. Thanks for stopping by with the info!

No problem at all man. Happy to help a fellow grower :) By any chance, are you running CO2 in your room?

What up Flaboy? Yeah I do have co2 in my cabinet. I have a digigro coco co2 monitor/controller. Automatically keeps the ppm between 1200-1500 ppm. I have a greenair atmospheric controller inside the cabinet that controls the co2 and the exhaust fan to control heat and RH. Shuts the co2 off when exhaust is going also. It has a photocell to turn the co2 off when lights out. Outside the cab I have a 20LB co2 cylinder. This my first grow with the co2. Bought the digigro on ebay for $350 for the monitor/controller and regularator. Spelling is correct thats how the spell it. Anyway, Why do you ask?
