Anyone running Athena blended in promix?

So I’m thinking about doing a switch from advanced (full lineup) to Athena Blended.. I’ve used promix for almost 20 years and am comfortable with it. I keep hearing people saying “Athena is clean”. One of my biggest gripes about advanced is, if your promix is a little to dried out and you water with your usual mixed solution, It will burn the fuck outta your ladies if you don’t premoisten the promix. Id love to hear some fellow growers feeding schedules in promix with Athena. Size of pots, how often you feed, do you ever feed just plain water (not talking about flush), will I burn my ladies if promix dries out a little to much and fed with straight nute solution without wetting first. Is their schedule spot on or do I have to mess with a ppm/ec meter each mixing. Any info that might be of help with someone that’s used advanced for almost 20 years and might be switching over to something a little easier, would be great appreciated : ) Thanks in advance

You could certainly switch to Athena from Advanced, but both are unnecessarily expensive. You'd get the same results with Jack's a/b or Maxigro/bloom (both are just as "clean" as advanced or athena, in terms of heavy metal testing)...but that said, any of these dry salt ferts would work well in promix. Just don't let the promix dry out and keep your EC at 1 to 1.2 and feed to runoff each time-plenty of runoff is your friend, you'll do great with whatever nutrient line you choose.

That's not attributable to the brand of nutrients; the same would happen using Jacks, Maxi, or MiracleGro

My dude runs Athena and my just jacks 321 finished the same for a fraction of cost. That ph stable perc is definitely cool though. He never had to ph. Jacks pk modified is still unbeaten in my environment though.

All nutrients are the same they're just packaged in different ratios at best. "clean" is just a sales pitch, they all come from the same mines.

Thanks guys… giving them a shot to see how they stack up to advanced. I feel like I’m brand new to growing and I’ve been doing this for 19 years lol Switching a nutrient line and not knowing what the outcome of each feeding will be, leaves my stomach growling hahahaha I guess I’ll just try it and find out.
