Anyone grow in beer cups?

hey people,

Does anyone out there grow their plants in 16oz cups til harvest?

What kind of results do you get? What kind of medium and nutrient schedule do you use?

I'm sure this has been discussed before but let's hear it...

I had a bunch of leftover clones growing in ocean forest and perlite I put outside and they are growing nicely, so I'm thinking of just leaving them there to see what happens. I'm just wondering if smaller containers need more frequent feedings or any other special attention to grow healthy plants.
I'm pretty sure I'd get better results if I just planted them in the earth somewhere, but does anyone know how much better? Since harvest would have to be in a 2 months at the most, I'm not sure how much of a difference this would make. Any advice?

Thanks!

I bet what will happen is you get a MUCH smaller plant obviously, and you will have to water like 4 times a day which I guess means feeding more as well. That is just my opinion, you probably have more experience than me.

Yeah, that seems to be pretty much what's going on. My clones have been out for maybe 2-3 weeks and they like they're cups but they're starting to turn yellow on the bottom leaves, so i guess i'll just plant them in the earth somewhere and let them do their thing.

I am curious though also for growing indoors. Do you just need to water more often because of the smaller containers or also feed more frequently? I have two that are indoors but are doing fine, so I'm guessing it does have something to do with nutrients getting flushed out by the rain or something. I've seen pics of some really nice plants growing out of beer cups, I'm just curious how it's done...
