Anyone ever try these fans for there cooltube?

Not that particular brand but bilge blowers are cheap, they are typically 4 or 6 inches and they have high CFM ratings but their excessive noise can be a PITA. I used one but I had to put a speed controller on it because at full power it almost sounded like a vacuum cleaner.
