Anyone ever make a?

Vented reflector?

Currently i have a cool tube. And i was going to make one, but finding the glass is proving to be very hard here in canada.

So i was wondering if anyone made a reflector that was vented, and could share some ideas.

I have a friend that just went to a local hardware store and bought some sheet aluminum and a pop rivet gun and built his own vented hood. For the glass tube, you could use a hurricane lamp globe OR a pyrex bread tube. Both work well!
