Ive heard a couple negative things about the Greenhouse seed company but my local seedbank only has super lemon haze seeds from them. Anyone have anything good to say about Greenhouse seeds?

dutch passion are ok.. not one of the best breeders, but also not one of the worst either.. i'd rather grow dp then ghsc, that is for sure.. strawberry cough is on my list of to grow strains..

what type of high are you looking for op? sativa or indica, hybrid, etc... if we know some of what you were looking for in an end product, we'd be better able to help point you in the right direction for a breeder or even a strain or two..

I just got some their seeds, Superbud, and Pure Kush, 2 new strains they came out with. Only reason I got them is because of the cheap prices.
It was like $35 for 5 fem seeds, each. I am more interested in the other strains I ordered, especially Chimera'a Mental Floss.

One of the other strains I ordered was Dutch Passion's WW. Non fem. I am pretty excited about growing the WW.

My friend grew some GHS strains, and he got a few hermies, and pollinated everything. I hear a lot of people with hermie problems with GHS, but
I still plan to grow my GHS strains, and will probably check out some of their other strains, Lemon Skunk and SLH are 2 I will definitely order
someday. All the hermie problems we hear about may be due to newbie growers making mistakes. I'm sure a lot of strains get bad reviews because
a newbie grows it, and messes up, and blames the breeder and strain.

GHS has won a lot of awards at the Cannabis Cup for their strains. SLH 2 years in a row.

Arjan isn't a breeder. If you're saying he knows marketing, well, newbs do grow his gear all the time. Arjan is the king of stealing strain names and putting them to half-assed hybrids.

Thanks for all the great info folks. I am one of the lucky ones who has multiple seed banks within driving distance so im gonna check out what each place has to offer and maybe just grow a variety garden and try multiple strains.

If you are new to growing you should look for something that is "easier" to grow then a sativa.
You should also try one, maybe two strains at a time instead of multiple. I would get something like a 60/40 mix to start with.

if i can keep ghsc seeds from hermieing on me then yeah you get a good yield, i have better luck with white label, sensi, serious an lately g13 but every thing i have done from greenhouse with the exception of a couple of widows seemed to herm i think it was partly my fault though because i was using full strength nutes started off at half doses an increased through the weeks,
if your going to run with them start at half doses on nutes an increase slowly just my opinion

dude, that is the way that you're supposed to introduce nutrients to a grow, so if they hermied on you, it was no fault of your own.. don't take credit for that one..

I live in Toronto Canada, any good seed banks in the area anyone can recommend to me?
I went to the Ontario seed bank and was treated like crap. The staff was so rude and unhelpful.

everyone talks shit on green house because they are the biggest seed company. arjan fucking invented indoor growing. he produced excellent hazes that are usually mold and plague resistant. whether people like it or not he's the best in the world. with white widow, ssh, slh those are 3 of the best strains in the world and he's produced them all(with controversy none the less.) and he gives money to charities. arjan's seeds are for producing marijuana mr. nice is for breeding. so here's my best advice: thank arjan for thinking of indoor growing and get mr nice if you wanna breed

Greenhouse have some cracking phenotypes if you find them. More often than not though you end up with shit, well that's all i ended up with.

I think you need to go and do some reading Ww58  You do of course know that GHS white widow is just a bullshit knock off replica, shanti took his genetics with him when he busted outta there. Best in the world LOL why would there be usch a huge amount of negative reporting on his seeds if he were the best int he world? last i checked my mr nice seeds were planted for producing better marijuana than GHS seeds could offer me :D but what am i thinking, they're stable solid genetics for breeding, not growing weed

ROFLMAO , Arjan invented indoor growing? and my balls produce pure gold.

Super lemon haze is the most over-hyped bunch of crap and the SSH and WW aren't even the originals, smoke some real weed and come talk to me.

GHS Bubba Kush - Kush x Bubble Gum

Bubba Kush is not a Bubble Gum cross.

GHS Jack Herer - Haze x Red Skunk

"Green House Seeds Jack Herer is an excellent multiple Cannabis Cup Winner and is undoubtedly one of the best types of marijuana in the cannabis world today."

GHS Jack isn't even the same genetic make-up as the original and as far as I know GHS hasn't won any cannabis cups with it so they are using the pedigree of the original to pimp their own ditch weed.

well i've only grown ghsc and cali clone only strains and never have had 1 monoecious plant. so maybe YOU don't think ghsc is good, but they release quality product. arjan has a passion for the plant.
