Any innovative guerrilla grows techniques?

I'm getting anxious about the grow season and I just learned about solar powered rain barrel pumps for irrigation along with gravity fed irrigation. Anyone have any other tips/cool tricks they use?

Copper for slugs fishing line for deer, and last year I used a survival technique for watering a Lone Ranger in the woods... I took a two ltr bottle and buried it in the ground two on each side then took a larger Hawaiian punch bottle and put them over the bottles, through evaporation and condensation in the summer heat the two liters slowly condensates in the top bottles and waters the plant... I had one on each side and used swamp water the beauty of it was it filtered the water I used and didn't ave to worry for weeks about it
