I use an incandescent reptile bulb specifically made for UV-b. I only have one back-to-back grow comparison, with and without UV-b from 5 years ago. Two back to back grows of NL#5. Second grow was with UV-b and was too strong for the wife. She preferred the previous NL#5 without the UV. That's sure as hell less than a scientific study, but that's all the personal experience I have. I started this based on a lot of reading and discussions with growers on several forums 5 years ago. Still no lab proof that shuts everyone up, but there was enough evidence for me to try it. Cost was low and not a lot of electricity or heat so WTF. I tried it and have been using ever since. Just curious if any other indoor growers had any experience using UV-b
