I would just foliar spray your plants with water several times a day it adds moisture too the air! but do not spray your flowering females past the first 2 0r 3 weeks of flowering because you could cause bud mold! good luck :bigjoint:

PLUS .... leave an open container of H2O in ur grow room.... larger the opening the greater the evaporation rate.

I say don't even worry about it. From my understanding, during the veg cycle humidity should be high but lower doesn't hurt the plant (hell my first grow I couldn't get the humidity higher than 21%).

I for one am trying to figure out how to lower my humidity (without a dehumidifier). During veg (end of it ironically) I finally got my humidity up to ~ 45%. Now I'm in flowering and for some reason the humidity won't drop below 53% (max was 65% last night). Time to fab together another exhaust/intake set up.

yeah humidity probs piss me off. i dont like running humidifiers/dehumidifiers (mainly because i am a cheap, lazy, stoned, bastard) so i exchange the air in my cab once every 7 secs, lol... makes for sturdy stems! one thing i have noticed is that with an increase in airflow, they suck alot of water... thinking the increased airflow speeds up transpiration. not sure yet if this is beneficial or not, ive read that higher transpiration can cause lockout of certian elements which then leads to nute burn. so its a craefull balance of airflow... ive had to tweak my fan controls a dozen times to get it right.

yes, a fan blowing across water will increase evaporation. In causing ripples, the surface area is increased.
