any hope?

this is my first grow and the plant was doing well until about a day or 2 ago when its leaves started to whilt. wat can i do to save it? ive bin watering it every few days making sure not to over water it, and ive got my lights on a timer of 18/6. any ideas?

it totally looks overwaterd to me, i know you bin trying not to but thats how it looks. so tell me how do you know when to water do you look at it and see it looks dry and water it i would suggest not watering it for a while they dnt use much when ther that small and the top of the soil drys out but its still wet a quarter inch below that top crust, leaves look wet , you dnt have a humidity dome over it do you

First, question is that a rooted clone or just a new cutting. If so usually a humidity dome would help out a lot. I actually leave my cuttings in a humidity dome till they root since my vegetative room is adjacent to the clone chamber therefore my humidity would not be ideal for my cuttings/clones without a humidity dome. I suggest purchasing a moisture meter to help you out with determining the water content of your containers until you get to a point where you can lift pots and know that it is indeed dry and requires watering.

You may want to try the lifting method for watering. When the plant is ready for watering it will feel almost weightless when you pick it up. You will also notice the dirt shrinking away from the edge of the container.

ive been feeling the soil and checking to see if it was moist and sometimes digin in a lil to see how moist but it could definitely be a possiblity that i over watered. and i was using a humidity dome before but its not on atm, im using five T-5s for lighting too btw. and its not a clone its from a seeds that i got off of the internet. can i get a cheap moisture meter from oretty much anywhere to? and should i just leave it for now?
