ok, so like in the title im having some ph problems. i have four 17 gallon rubbermaid containter each with 5 fem clones in them. i only vegged them for a week so they wont get to big for the containters they are in. i am using the general hydroponics flouraduo part a and b as of right now. i am using the standard ratio for any hempy bucket, 3 parts perlite and one part vermiculite. i know that the vermiculite is ph unstable so lets go ahead and skip everyone saying that. my problem is whenever i water my babies at 5.6 to 5.8 the run off water ends up coming out over 7!! ive tried everything, flushing and even lowering the ph to around 4 to try and even it out but nothing fucking works!! its driving me insane!

i have 4 mother plants going in 5 gallon buckets with a different type of vermiculite, its the brown dirt looking stuff from lowes, ya kno? with no problems at all.. but in my rubbermaid containers is the shiny spongy looking vermiculte i picked up from my hydro store.

does anyone have any tips to lower my ph bc i can see im already having problems 2 weeks into my flowering stage!

Thanks in advance to anyone out there that may be able to help me fix my problem!

I would not try using ph 4 on them anymore, can damage them. You only have a few choices but something in the pots is doing this. What are you using to ph.

As a long time grower I have learned not to chase Ph as you do more damage than good. So what I do is pick a range for the style of growing and stick with it. I am doing RDWC and keep my Ph range from 5.4 to 6.0.

You being at 7.0 is not real bad just not the best spot to be. If it went higher I would be concerned.

yes, ive re calibrrated my meter many times. i am using viagrow ph up and down to adjust my ro water after i have added my nutes. Thanks for the quick responce. So what could it be in my containers causing it to shoot up so hi? ive read on here that the ph should be around 5.8 for hempy buckets, is that not true? i would think over mid 6's would be to hi.

use just 100% perlite next time, it works totally fine...you'll see that a lot (if not most) hempy growers on here use 100% ...great ph neautrality, and holds water just fine on its own

i ph their food to 5.8, and never check runoff, hempies are so great! there's never any lockout or deficiency! no need to check runoff using 100% perlite imo...
