Long time lurker, decided to finally give it a go!

So have been having numerous issues really but this lil one captured my attention with the white stuff on the leaves. It does not come off if i spray or wipe the leaf. Given this sprouted 2wks ago already ... im thinking it's in trouble. When searching for white stuff on leaves - the major response is mold - but I would love to hear your thoughts.

As for other issues (with other younglings, I have a vertical tower with a res at the base which pumps to the top and drips down to all the pots. I think my system was drip watering too often, as they were all looking quite droopy) I took 4 out of the hydro system and placed it under just a single light using the seedling dome in order to give them a break - but I guess this means the roots may not be getting what they need).

It has such a beautiful aroma already - I would love to see it grow into a beautiful lady :)
Sorry for lack of info - hoping the pictures make it clear in regards to the "white stuff"
Thanks in advance!

I believe if it was mold it wouldnt be in a perfect ring like that it would be a solid circle. Your seedling looks super healthy and happy great job keep it up man:clap:

that is called limescale.... let your water sit for 24 hours before using it and maybe get a water softener added to your supply. . those white marks are water droplets that have dried out.

Thanks all :) I didn't think about it being water drops! :)
I was going to post some other seedlings whose leaves were curling but the new branches haven't been doing it, so seems all good.
Sadly I lost two overnight, not sure what happened - maybe a temp issue. All of the leaves are just flopped down looking mighty mighty sad or dead. Im really hoping there will be some new life but yeh, I might need to just stick with the two healthy ones I have left. Live and learn!
Thanks again for all the responses, Happy growing!
