my plants is 5 to 6 weeks old and i put her outdoors to grow. the place i have her in has been attracting ants, at first it seems like everything it going fine. But take a closer look during nighttime, and you see the ants go down. im using Lost Coast Plant Therapy.

Check your plants for aphids. Ants lick the sugary dew that aphids exude as they suck the life blood out of your plants.

Ants don't really bother the plants unless they are leaf harvesters then you'd see the ones headed down carrying bits of leaf and lots of damaged leaves.

Defiantely keep an eye out for aphids under side of leaves because of the ant activity, diatomaceous earth at the base of the plant or a dusting on main stalk coming up from the soil can deter the ants a bit, ants are hard body though keep that in mind. Diatoms might at least latch onto any aphid eggs they may be trying to bring up into your plant. You could also try a micronized sulfur, or any sulfur, barrier around plant too.

coffee ground or lemon juice work as repellants.

an aside - 6 weeks old? How long is your growing season?
Here in NS my (very mature) girls started flower 2nd week of Aug & are looking to finish in mid Oct. IMO, that's a Nov harvest for you.
