Ants, Ants, Ants, Oh My!

Hey everybody,

So i am currently growing outdoors and am having a bugger of a time with ants eating my fan leaves. I've just entered flowering stage and don't want them to start gnawing on buds once they begin to form. I tried an insecticide spray that is safe for vegetables, but this did not work and they kept on eating. Damage isn't too bad but has picked up over the last few days. Any good ideas on getting rid of them?

Thanks!:blsmoke:

Ant traps?
i'll give them a try, will pick a few up today. i'm also going to get some se7en dust and make a nice little boundary about a 1' away from my plant. i only got one and it's a big girl, so i want to take care of her as much I can. I also read something in a thread about using powdered cinnamon. If anybody has heard of this, would this be a plausible suggestion for topical use?

Thanks!bongsmilie

Sprinkle some diatomaceous earth all around your plants. It will kill them and it's completely non toxic.
