I checked all over the board couldnt find anything on the subject sorry...

1 by changing the ph of the water im using would this also change the ph of the soil?

Although when you ph your feed and pour it onto the soil the soil will be the same PH as the feed you just poured in... if plants do not uptake nutrients properly salts can get left behind in the medium... and are not always flushed out on the next feed. This can lead to salt build-ups in your medium that you might not be aware of. Which can also alter the PH and EC of your medium.

The best tool to buy is an ec meter (ppm, whatever). This way you only feed the plants what they need, and excess salts do not get time to build up in the medium.

It's rare in soil, as it is an excellent buffer, but it has happened... and doubtless, will again.
