Another Is it ready thread

Both of these plants are Ethos Mandarin Cookies planted at the same time. They are quite different. (different phenos?) The hairy one on the left came up a day after the other and had helmet head pretty bad so I'd say it's at least a week behind the one on the right. These are right at the 8 week of flower mark. I got a microscope and was surprised at the state of the trichombs. She looks ready to me but welcome some advice. The Trich pics are from the plant on the right. Thanks for any help!

Stop looking at trichomes, you have an easy month and a half left.
I've just read over and over to look for cloudy and some amber trichomes to determine readiness and I see lots of amber in the pics. I wasn't planning on chopping the one on the right for at least a couple weeks but seeing all them ambers, made me wonder if it was further along than I was expecting. didn't want to over do it.

Sounds like you want to harvest early, which is fine, it's your plant, but I wouldn't. You have more than a couple weeks left on both plants.

This is the only pic you need to look at.
