I suppose it's a little late in the process to start a "grow log" but hell it's not that interesting until flower! So here are my ladies in their 3rd week of flower. The plant on the right is a week older than the one on the left due to some mistakes being made and me wasting two seeds, but it seems to have caught up nicely.
As you can see I'm growing two ladies using SCROG. What you can't see if that I run a RDWC that is managed and maintained by a DIY automation system that I call "Hydromation". Thanks to the automation I went from spending 30+ minutes a day tending to the garden to spending 5 - 10 minutes per week! Plus let's be honest I'm lazy and don't have the greenist of thumbs so these ladies are loving having 24/7 automated monitoring of their grow medium.
I designed & built the automation system myself, it monitors the "soup" for pH and PPM levels 24/7. If the pH wavers outside of 5.65 and 5.95 then it will be corrected. You can set the desired PPM and set an acceptable tolerance for PPM. If the reading drops below the tolerance it will result in up to 6 different nutrients being added in configurable ratios. All I need to do is add water, fill up the bottles of nutrients and adjust the PPM based stage of growth.
Strain: Mega Jackpot (Feminized)
Grow-room: 4x4 tent
Light: 600W LED (Used seed through harvest)
Nutrients: Emerald Harvest line-up
Growing Methods: RDWC Hydroponics, Topping, Super Cropping, SCROG
Veg Length: 6 weeks
Flower Length: 10 - 11 weeks
Flower Week 3 Update
I previously have allowed the plants to fill the net more before switching to flower. However this has lead to very dense canopies that the LED struggles to get good penetration through. This has been successful in giving me a more open canopy but didn't quite fill the net.
Plants were topped, lolly popped and super cropped. Still a bit more cleanup to do under here.
This bad boy is over 10 inches long and has 14 fingers.
