Been growing the Big Bang since thanks-giving. This is my first grow and am learning as i go. Was using CFLs, then T12 40W 6500k & 4100k. Things were slow. Ditched the miracle grow soil for Ocean Forest in december. Started using Botanicare Pro grow at the same time. Still, things were slow. Couple weeks ago built a 4'-0" x 4'-0" x 7'-0" space in the cellar. Temps are cool in the winter as there are leaks. Lined the walls with mylar. Still things were slow. Just last week I bought a HPS light on craigslist. 100 smacks with a phillips 430 watt bulb. I am waiting to see results. I just did my first flush. Leaves at the bottom were yellowing, withering and dying. The same started happening to top leaves. I thought I was getting them wet when watering but.... I am hoping for the best. I am noticing though that the first leaves were 3 blades. After a few nodes, the went to 5 and now they are 7. I will post pics soon as I get a good camera to do so. I can use my phone cam for less res but want all y'all to see my probs / progress.
