Ambes first indoor grow Girlscout cookie & 6 tester Auto hybrids NLxBB in a 5x5x84

Hey whats up guys. Pretty excited about how my yr is going as far as cannabis.
id say in about january i started saving bag seeds from my smoke to do my usual 1 or 2 plants
outdoor for my personal use. as i use it for my chronic back pain i've had for about 8 yrs.

Ive worked @ home now for a little over a year so when i have something i wish to read or learn up on.
In this instance growing. i have a decent amount of time to do so. so i started researching an indoor grow
as my 2 plants would only get me smoke for about a month or 2 and i needed something more permanent.

Found this forum in about May and started reading the hell up. reading threads, making noob comments/ questions
Some graciously answered by the experienced growers on this site, some trolled lol. but i believe i retained some good info.
so first i learned about the whole indoor grow and after reading for a while decided it was something i could do and was worth dropping
say $1000-1500 ish on the equipment but only once i made it legal for myself to cultivate as i have a good job and clean criminal record im
not trying to wreck and getting my card was much easier than i thought. about 5 wks ago i went and got my medical marijuana card for the chronic
back pain and started reading about specific equipment.

about a month ago was made aware a legal grower/patient in my area was robbed of all his plants and stabbed in the throat.
this being heartbraking as it is and having had plants stolen myself i offered him 2 plants i had going and he in turn was able to
give me a very solid hook up. he led me over to The kings greenhouse in leominster and i went and got my whole set up. everything i
need that i know of for about $800. minus the tent which i had bought online months prior to this for an additional 150 ish so about
$1000 total invested in the tent.

So out of my 6 tester Auto hybrids Northern Lights X big buds i have 3 going in rockwool right now @ about 72 hrs. i see the tap root
on 2/3 so hopefully they both pop. the Girlscout cookie seeds i dont have yet but should get this week. and will start in my Ez rooter.
Will post picks of the equip and set up shortly when my phone quits being a pain in the balls.

other notables. will be using a 600W MH for veg, 600W HPS for flower, and got the nectar of the god line of nutes.

ill be updating as i go. the tent is getting the final touches today, its already up and the light is up.
just getting the filter and fan set up today and then im good to go. will be alot of pics and updates in general as this is my
first indoor grow and im pretty fucking souped for everything.

Yooo so pretty much got the tent ready to go . Id say about %75 .
Put 3/6 of the auto seeds into rockwool about 72 hrs ago so on 7/21
And today 2 are popping and should break the surface 2 morro. Pretty excited for my first autos.
So seeing as that worked I started the last 3 tonight. Soaked the rock wool in a very very low dose of zues juice and those babies should come right up. Prolly throwing then under the 600 w tomorro
. And Ik that's a lil strong but I will have them further under the light and thatvl should suffice right?

Post Scripture- I know most ppl dont like to watch plants go through the early stages as everyone on this site has typically grown and seen it. ppl like the bud porn.
and there will be that.... @ the end lol. i had a previous grow outdoor but didnt take good pics to document and show off lol. so for now it will be more like a journal for me to date everything, remember when i planted, when i tranplanted. etc etc. but obv questions comments are welcome.

My goddamm bulb died on me after all of like 45 minutes it was on . Hoping its the bulb not the outlet or anything else.
Gonna call where I ordered it and hopefully get a new one.

OK so the first round of 3 autos were planted on the 21st and all three seeds have broken open and I can see healthy taproots.and of course there's one leader of the pack that just broke the top of the rock wool today the calyx leaves are still facing down but Tomorrow or the next day the first try leaves should open up.

the next round of the three autos were put in the 24th and looks like 2 have cracked and have healthy taproots. So were looking @ minimum %82.5 germ rate for my first time in rock wool and that's sick. I will forever use it or ez rooters from here out lol. Also I have a spare light I got going now until the new one comes in mail mon or Tuesday ( I talked to company this morning and the sent new one free no problems.). So I through the plant I had on my deck in the tent as well as the small pheno jack herra from my outdoor grow in my tenT cuz its raining and low 70s here in northeast so I figured I'd give em some personalized treatment as a trial and error for the future I'll know how the stains react going from outdoor to indoor and back. . What did the company say about the bulb that went out on ya? GL with the grow.

Hey night rider. Thanks for stopping in. When I called the company to tell them the bulb had a "hot start" as they call it. He asked me if I could distinguish between an issue with the bulb and ballast. And since I had a extra bulb I was able to do that. Upon confirming that they priority sent me another free of charge. I've been very happy with them thus far.

Good to hear some companies still offer good customer services. I know a lot would make wait for you to return the damaged bulb, causing a 2+ week turnaround time.

having just spent 600$ there last week. if they had given me any issues it would have been less than ideal lol

ok today was a good day for the autos.(listening to Good Day by Ice cube right now. so prolly why i used that phrasing) so 5 out of 6 have got their first leave coming up. the 6th is germed nd i can see tap root. just taking it a second to come up with its leaves.
so im pretty sure gonna have 100% germ for the 6 and im really excited about that, having had about 60% germ rate with my other seeds up to this point in the yr as the rest of my seeds were sitting around for a while.

so i would say today would probably be all except that one but well call it all of their day #1 above ground. for easy documenting purposes. i am recieving my 15 Girlscout cookie seeds this week. and will probably start 10 in an ez rooter and stash 5 for another time. i love having an maintaining a tent. its a lil different than the garden but its cool. when i can get a good pic of the 6 babies popped ill throw it on here.

good news for the process. The GSC seeds are now in my possesion. 15 in total. gonna throw 10 in the ez rooter tommmorow and pick maybe the 6-7 healthiest
as i imagine ill get @ least 9 of the 10. also recieved my light yesterday having only just ordered it friday. very happy about that. the 5 autos are doing great.
now that theyve all broke the surface of the rockwool i threw em outside so the 600W doesnt kill em. when there like 10-14 days old theyll go back under the 600w.
wooo. souped to see these babies grow. i have a 20 inch Jack herra pheno currently in the tent. to keep me occupied while these babies come up in the world lol.

planted 10 gsc seeds yesterday in the Ez rooter. however today it occurs to me that its for Clones and i shoulda just used rockwool.
Pretty sad about that. hope it works out fine.

Day 3 for my 5 autos. theyre all looking good.
just found 5 males in my outdoor garden. pretty sad. gonna clone the shit out of my females tonight.

I found it, i jus read your outdoor thread and asked if you had started your indoor. i see... looking good, as i am curious about the jack h? this is the one that was growing super slow? lookin alot better... good luck man

thanks kirby. ya turns out the fast growing jack is a male. so im hoping the slow growing jack is a female lol and its looking dank.
actually about to start a 911 help thread on the smaller jack. i through it in the tent and looks like its having a defiency.

took 3 clones of the 100% females i have. because i had 10 outdoor plants total and have about 4 confirmed males. so now im trying to get a couple gauranteed females running.
i took 2 clones earlier in the season and it didnt work to well but done some reading since and hopin this works better.

the clones looking nice and healthy coming into day 3. they should be rooting up in a couple days.
out of the 10 GCS i have about 7 cracking . and the 5 autos doing good on day 3-4 ish i believe. a lil
light yellowing on one of the auto babies. any suggestions?

hey guys. a picture of the autos doing pretty good. forming their second leaf set not including the calyx leaves.
and a picture of the GSC seeds cracking under the dome with the 3 clones. looks like all 10 gsc seeds have cracked
today with 2 not looking very good. and 1 came up upside down the root came str8 out like the plant and then inverted into
the cube itself and rooted into the cube ...made its own hole lol so well see if that one pulls through . not calling it the GSC day one yet tho maybe
1-2 more days.

Edit: the lower row of five. the second in from the left. is the one that came out backwards and rooted itself.

I personally enjoy watching all stages of growers' stories, especially ones such as yours where your lead in was so informative and positive

very cool spek, think ur the first subber on either of my threads. this is my first try in a tent and autos and besides the autos its also my
first year trying anything other than bag seed with the girscout cookies. its my fourth yr growing but its been outdoor and all this new stuff
makes me feel like its my first grow so its very cool.

the 5 autos hitting their 1 week mark. and 4 out of 5 of the rock wool cubes have like 5 roots coming from the bottom.
2-3 more days and these will get their final homes in 5 gallon containers! pretty excited. out of the 10 GSC all the seeds crack.
of the 10 cracked 8 popped up above the cube level.
and of those 8 looks like 5-6 nice strong starters.

the 3 clones are looking ok. 1 is yellowing. probably normal when cut from the mother tho. i think day 4 for those.
no roots yet . hoping for them soon tho.
