Amber trichomes on leaves - cloudy/clear on buds?

So my DP auto is in the window of harvest.

Looking at the trichomes today I noticed they were amber on the leaves but cloudy/clear on the buds?

Is this normal?

From my experience they become amber on the sugar leafs befor the bud turns amber

Yes. Don’t even check the trichs on the leaves. Any pictures of your buds?

i normally wait until i have a shit load of orange/dark brown pistils, then only then ill check the trichomes.

Thanks for chiming in guys. Interesting to note they mature differently.

Here’s a few pics. Plant was grown outdoors at 55’ North which explains its size.

Also they got hungry as I was away for a while

Still a few white hairs coming out.

Breeder says 10-11 weeks. They are 10 weeks 4 days.

Last pic is a couple of weeks ago. Crazy change.
