I realize that PW. I'm asking if there's weight difference between buds say with 100% cloudy trichomes then buds with 25-50% amber? Also, I thought for indica dominant you would want a higher % of amber and cloudy for sativa. Is that not right? Is the above ratio for all strains/genetics? And thank you for the response PW.Yield is measured in weight not with trichome maturity.
You should harvest when you have 95%-Cloudy 4%-Clear 1%-Amber. If you let the trichomes degrade (turn amber), you're just asking for couch lock.
Thank you for saying this. High is strain dependent. The only thing you do by growing it out to have tons of amber trichomes is waste a lot of good thc/cbdAmber (degraded THC) trichomes don't cause couchlock but rather a false couchlock/muddy high.If you want true couchlock, grow a pure indica or a hybrid that is more indica than sativa.
Whether it's Sativa or Indica, you want as close to 100% cloudy/milky trichomes as possible.
No worries bro...15+ years of runs under the belt and doing your homework teaches you a lot.Thank you for saying this. High is strain dependent. The only thing you do by growing it out to have tons of amber trichomes is waste a lot of good thc/cbd
