Am i ready to Top?

yes i know there have been a ton of these threads lately, but i'm just not really sure since so far my yield is not looking to be very good, only have large buds on top.

so i was thinkin' i'd chop the cola now and clear up leafs for the rest of the plant to grow some more and make more mature buds.

pic's show what i have now, keep in mind this was outdoor and most the hairs are brown now.

so should i chop off the top, clear up some leafs so the lower buds can grow more or should i leave the cola on for awhile longer?

looks ready... BUT.. i need to see the entire plant...

if you took these pictures today it wouldnt hurt to leave it be for another 5 or 6 days.. chopping it this late won't really improve the other growth

ignore the lights, i picked up another 4 CFL's today since i've just recently brought it indoors cause of the crappy / rainy weather.

what strain is the above plant, what you want to top?.

you should top a week into flowering i did not because mine is growing fine and its my first grow. toping makes 2 buds on top of the plant insted of 1 good luck.

i always top (FIM usually gets me 4 new nodes) during vegetative growth - i thought it was "bad" to top while flowering.

yes top. look when i did, yours will seem a shame to lose all that. but youll get it back.more top cola's more even.

i normally do mine 1 week b4 flowering.

wow this is old. i don't think you mean by 'top' atleast not in that case, i was just wondering about taking out the top bud a week or so before harvest which i did and it worked out great!

yes ive done that when you think the top is done, chop it,and give the rest of the plant 1 or 2 more weeks.

a higher being of some sort. i really don't know. it was a graphic i made awhile back and it came out lookin' a lot more interesting than i had originally made out to create. i love it none the less

i dont understand why you would take your main cola before the rest of your plant? I do it in reverse....i take buds from the lower branches before finally harvesting that oh so juicy cola. If only i grew lst then the major decision would be which top to take early
