Am I ready to harvest? - Consultation

Hey there folks, I want to consult with you should I be ready to harvest this plant or not yet? I'm relatively experienced enough to know what I want and that is a strong high, not the early harvest energetic feel, but the strongest possible high without feeling much of a couch-lock, hence trichomes turning amber. Unfortunately I don't have a good magnifier to accurately identify the color of the trichomes but seeing from the pictures as well about 50 % of the calyxes are already red-ish and dry so I guess I should harvest in a day or two, or wait about a week more 'cause the plant is getting some weight and that is noticeable ...

Day 53 of flowering, strain is unknown and genotype is Sativa dominant.

I'm sorry for the low quality on the pictures, especially on the zoomed one but that's the best I can get. :/

More pictures on further requests. :P

So again, the main question ... I want the most potent high, not energetic but also not couch-locking with much CBD, should I give her a week more or cut her now?

Indeed, it's sad that I can't get a decent look on the trichomes, the first picture shows the closest I can get ...

Not even close at all. If u think its 2 weeks you'll probably go 3 more weeks. Your buds do look great, nice job. You should post a pic once a week in this thread and say how about now, or now? U will be able to harvest just perfect. Again your 3 weeks away for sure. And again nice job, those look nice.

What is the strain and how many days flowering are you at? IMO amber trichs simply mean degraded THC, has little to do with the "couchlock" feeling. Most strains will put on considerable bulk during the last 3 weeks, and breeder times are largely understated. As mongo said, looks like you have a couple weeks at least.

Beautiful plants! But you're still a couple of weeks away in my book. Yes, a lot of the pistils have changed color, but there are other harvest markers I'm not seeing yet, like swelling of the bud itself and the pistils receding back toward the bud. Really nice job, man...congrats!

Currently at day 53 of flowering, the strain is unknown to me ... The genotype is definitely Sativa dominant. And thank you all for the comments, I also think it'll use a few good more weeks now as I see that buds are good but they are gaining weight and indeed looks unfinished to me. :) I'll post a picture every 5 days to check how growth goes on. Nonetheless I'm still looking for opinions! :)

And a side note ... It's my first ever grow. :)

Do whatever it takes to scounge up the $7-$8 for a magnifier 60x-100x all over Ebay. Go garbage pick for scrap metal if necessary or Old car batteries r worth $4 a piece at a recycling center. Seriously. Lol.

IMO If unknown is in fact 100% sativa ur looking at approx 84-100 days from the moment u start to see flowering begin

Well, don't know if it is 100 % Sativa, because this particular plant looks like a month ahead of the others I got, so I guess this one has something Indica-ish in it. :P For the other two plants I got I can see that they are 100 % Sativa's as they have just a tiny nugs as buds still.

Even a sativa dominant hybrid ur looking at approx 63-70 days on average. The problem I see is ur specific preference of buzz which can sometimes be the difference of a couple days.

Ask a friend that seems to collect alot of junk lol n ill bet u'll find a person with a few old heavy car batteries in the garage they'll part with. Haha

I have a 20x / 40x dual-loupe, a 150x USB microscope, and a couple of magnifying glasses...well worth the investment, I recommend you get one.

I use the loupe the most often, quick and easy...found it at a flea market
