am i ready to grow ??

hey all

along with 2 fans one blowing in and one blowing out.
i have got the seeds aswell
and the lights

x2 42 watt cfl 150 watt equal 6500k
x2 42 watt cfl 150 watt equal 2700k

from what i have read i have to get the seeds place them on a damp paper towel and wait for seeds to crack once iv done that do i just simple go to B&Q and get some organic soil and place it in a pot thats fits perfectly into my pc case ?? and iv read that i have to use 6500K lights am planing on using 2 lights now where am really stuck is how long do i leave the 6500k bulbs for ??? is it 24h for 2 weeks ??? and how long does veging take how will iknow its time to change to 2700k ???? sorry if i sound stupid am just tryna take it all in thanks

yep. place in moist paper towel. then i like to put that in a ziploc bag, squeeze air out and seal it. then, place that in warm, dark place for a few days. leave your lights on 24 hours a day throughout all of vegitative cycle. it's up to you when you flower the plant. to do that, you'll change lights to 12 on and 12 off. the plant will grow 1 1/2 - 2 times it's size in flower so if you wait until it's a foot tall, then flower, you'll end up with an 18-24" plant approx. use a mixture of 6500k and 2700k in flower or just the 2700k. good luck and let us know how it works out....

oh okay thats fine and can i just use normal organic soil and iv noticed on some photos i can see little rocks does that come with the soil >>>???

That little rocks is perlite which is mixed with the soil to let air flow throught the soil, most commercial soils have this already mixed .

Imo you are ready to start, my first attempt was done with a single 25watt cfl and ended with a foot stretched male plant.. Go ahead and experiment.
