Am I just paranoid?

Hey guys..am I a paranoid cunt or have I got a reason to think something is off?

I use gumtree as a market place and have been for years. Recently (the last few days after an update) I get a prompt every few minutes asking for access to my camera. If I decline the app closes immediately.

Never had this issue before and it sounds suspect. Usually it asks for permission to access my files when I post a photo, but never asks for access to my camera unless I specifically ask to upload a photo directly from shot.

I can't use the app for more than 2 minutes before it asks for access to my camera and then shuts down if I refuse..

Am I a paranoid cunt? Im very active on gumtree and sell items regularly. Should I ask why it needs immediate access to camera, or just deal with it?

I wouldn’t give them access to my zipper to look at my nutsac.

I use bouncer for android, it pulls all my permissions as soon as I close apps.

Apps that require my camera to function? I don't fuck with.

I like to call it awareness lol

This is the very reason I haven't had facebook on my phone since 2015. With a messenger update they required blanket access to camera, microphone and contacts. I denied it permission to all three and it refused to install, oh well. Bye Felicia.

I keep my "smart" phone as dumb as possible and don't let it have any apps unless I absoltuely must have them. So social, shopping and entertainment can take a long walk off a short pier; I never wanted my phone and personal data assistant to become one in the same thing, the end result has been exactly what I expected it's not particularly good at either function. I'd give anything to have my flip phone and Palm V back.

Tape a penis pic to the lens, then give it permission to access the cam.
