Aluminium foil under lamp shades

Don't do it,aluminum foil causes hot spot,but if you do it don't use the shiny side,and if the white covering doesn't leak light then there is no reason to use foil.

Aluminium foil will burn spots on your plants leafs, like "tarks" already said. better use something like warm isolation, or a glue tape with aluminium on one side.
