Ok so I'm just about on day 14 of vegetation of My OG Kush plant . The seedling started with three true leaves and Cotyledons. The plants now progressed and I've noticed such odd nodes . It almost seems like it's self topping it's self . No concern just maybe some advice on how to spread out such a funky plant haha. Also super strong smell has already begun to be expelledSnapchat-1568851559.jpgSnapchat-488836540.jpgSnapchat-3540786.jpg

I was thinking someone would mention this . I'm so nervous about hurting the plant even tho I see a lot of hard evidence that it says I won't hurt it. How long does it take for a plant to recover from LST?
Your plant will recover in a few hours. Your not removing any plant material, just bending her down.

Auxins will be distributed more evenly and the plant will start to bush quicker. Right now the auxins are going straight to the apical bud. The plant will grow taller and neglect the lower auxiliary buds.

Bending them over like that is an extremely efficient way of both gtting strong light to very branch, and keeping the canopy lower.

Ive done this for 25 years, or more. I also dont top, and most of the time, look for strains that Stretch a lot, after flip, as this can save of veg time.
I start seeds/clones out under 1000w HID. From Start, to Finish. In either 18oz Solo Cups, or 32oz Uline Deli Containers.
After a good root system is built, I transplant into 5 gallon containeers, and veg 45---70 days, then transplant into 20 gallon containers.

With the right plant/strain, ( 2010 Barneys Farm G13 x Haze ) and long veg, I can get 22oz from 1 plant under 1x 1000w Hortilux HPS, bend over in this fashion.
I also keep a slight breeze 24/7, and will give them a bit of a shake, or 2 everyday, to strengthen branches. I dont mess with the growing tip, unless I want to slow it down.
Bending like this, turns the secondaries, into a main. All the secondary growth, will get as strong of light, as the growing tip, if left untrained.

Looks good! You will need to tie her down again, after all the new branches have formed.
Have you seen the clips some growers use?
You can buy a 40 pack on Amazon for $6 bucks.
