Almost harvest time

ok so im getting ready to harvest my baby but need a couple questions answered real fast first. I apologize if these have been answered before but i do not have alot of time right now to search it out any help will be appreciated

!)What is a rough time frame for drying? i am going out of town and wonder if letting the bud hang for 14 days is to long?
2)Total darkness during drying good or bad?

5-7 days to dry depending on density and humidity in drying room.. and darkness is a good idea to has light degrades thc


if you dry for 14 days your weed will turn to a crisp

There is a great thread about drying/curing somewhere. I can't remember where I saw it but you should be able to search for it.

I would like to say when you post something like this without pics it's like asking us if we want cake without telling us there is no icing on it! Post a PIC!

Here goes some more info this is my first ever attempt at growing i got a skywalker clone that has been going since mothers day and flower since 5/30......its a cfl grow and i learned alot about what i did wrong and what not to do from now on just need some advice on what to do now that its almost harvest time but im going out of town for 14 days and want to know if its better to let it dry or go an extra 14 days im not leaving until 8/6 so i still got a couple weeks until i leave plus i dont want to start to cure the bud seeings how i wont be able to let the bud breath please help here goes a few pics not the best my cell sucks but only camera i got

You need to put your CFL's a lot closer to the plant, seriously. I see 4 lights and you need more than that if you are using CFL's. Just sayin

I'd let that go for 14 more day

All white hairs still

I have 6 lights now and put them all closer to the plant. Thanks for the advice
