cool avatar. i say this because as these trich colors may tell a story its irrelevant because your only looking at the outside trichs and not whats in the middle and they are surely differnt and there surely is much more in the center than on the surface. trichs change to milky and amber far before [usually] the pistils brown off and recede. this is the important part to ensuring a ripe product. watch the hairs and the overall appearance of the buds. throw the loupes away.

before someone says but i enjoy a more headie hi or some amateur shit like that ....

then go buy some genetics with a headie hi and grow it to its maturity. would you grow a watermelon to half its ripeness if you like sour watermelon? lol no you buy some sour patch kids.

great bro i thought the hairs was the way to go on my first run i 2003. this is my second go round and everywhere(forums) says trich color.ill have to find some good books

i went off the color of the hairs and how swollen the calyx were on my first grow and i received alot of compliments from friends who had some. I also used small amounts of molasses for feeding during the last few weeks of flower which seems to have helped make the bud super resinous. had to clean my pipe so many more time than normal! I grew blueberry and northern flame.
