almost done flowering now turning yellow

my plants are maybe about 8 weeks into flowering and i'm just starting to see red hairs on the bottom buds. But suddenly the plants started turning yellow and droopy. i stopped giving the plants nutrients because i needed to flush them out before there done. What can i do?

Some strains turn amber/yellowish when they approach harvest time, you might want to start flushing.

I'm not experienced at this stage, so I'd search around a bit but thats what I'd do personally.

Got any pics? It sounds as if you are getting close to the end, flush em out and just feed plain ph'd water to the end. You will notice leaves yellowing and falling off, this is normal. The plant is concentrating on the buds now. Do you have a microscope to check the tric's with? That is the best way to tell when ready, you can decide when to harvest based on the high you like.
