I understand that people run 5 or 6 1000 hps bulbs without getting cought although my bill is already high due to central air- pool pump- and so on. Ive got 2 400 MH runnin and im about to make a new room that has 150 watt MH and then 3 sepate t-5's. ( as in t-5's each one has 4 bulbs so in all it'd be 12 of them) . Then i have my flowerin room which consists of 2 400 watt HPS. Should i be fine?

Rule #1: Pay for all your electricity you use, and on time. That keeps the electric company happy and you will be happy.

Pay all your bills on time so you don't get service people or collectors paying you unexpected visits.

Also be careful on the heat you need to vent out and NEVER any loose lips.

Loose lips gets ya caught 90% of the time. The other things are usually being sloppy on your security and ventilation (to much heat or too much stink coming from your grow area).

If someone is looking at your electric bill, something was already discovered that has their attention.

Loose lips gets ya caught 90% of the time. What does this mean? Also the room i have is around 80 degrees at all times. Another question i have is can they see if your using more lights then you usualy do? I'm a little paranoid now.

The more people who know what your doing, or have seen what your doing, are the ones who may slip and tell someone else who may want to cause you problems.

ANYONE who knows about your grow can turn on you and report you. Be it family, the wife, or a girl/boy friend. I don't care how well you know or trust them, this statement is fact.

Sometimes it is hard for one person to keep their mouth shut. You have anyone who knows, your just setting yourself up for getting busted.

Do they run helicoptors with heat vision?
Yes they do under certain circumstances. It isn't cheap for them to do it, but yes they can detect large amount of heat that isn't normal compared to the surrounding houses.
They can't see in or see what is causing it, they can only see the hot spots. This is usually during a night operation as during the day, every roof looks hot due to the sun.

Its only one piece of the puzzle the police look for to try and find indoor grows. There is no law that says you can't vent out large amounts of heat due to bad house insulation. They only see hot spots as a "possible" sign of a grow.

I'm thinkin that im goin to minimize this operation to the 2 400 watt MH in a 2x6 room and then one cfl 150 in a 2x2 room then 2 t-5's in another 2x6 room. This wouldnt giv off so much heat considerin that half the lights are cfl. And the 2x6 room with both those 400 watt mh lights stay neutral at 80. This sound a little better?

think about it like this, if its a lot hotter in one part of ur house than the rest, it can show on the flir cameras. If ur house is a lot hotter than the houses around it, or has hotspots compared to the other houses, it will be noticable. If u can keep ur grow area the same temps as everything around it, rest of ur house and neighbors, then ur cool. Just dont stick out.

I read an article about a case that went to the supreme court I think in 2004. They deemed it an invasion of privacy for coppers to infrared houses. Because that means if they could, they could fly over your house and see you boning your wife in bed, which is an invasion of privacy. At my last location, was near an army base. Had black hawks flying over alllllllllll day and never caught any heat at all. Like has been said, pay your bill on time and the power company is happy. Just make sure your venting and odor is under control and you should be fine. I think the only way the would find your shit by infrared is if theres an escaped convict running around your place at night and they are lookin for him thru infrared.
