hi has any1 grown alaskan ice and jack herer from greenhouse seeds.are they stable strains?im growin there white rhino at moment hopin it will be good and just b4 xmas

Never tried the Jack Herer from GHS, but I'm a big fan of Alaskan Ice and White Rhino.

Since Alaskan Ice is pretty new, it's not completly stable, I've noticed that 1 out of 10 plants will be lanky, with little side growth and a very tiny yeald. But the other 9 out of 10 grow into some of the best plants ever.

I find Alaskan Ice to be the perfect ballance between sativa and indica, it provides enough of both, you don't get too sleepy or lazy and still have a nice head rush.

My batch of Ice was fucked up,the stretchy shit hes talking about above purtained to all 10 of my seeds I waisted grow space with that rubbish.I have Arjans Trainwreck and its great ,Im not a GHS basher I just bought some shitty seedsIm probably going to order Jack Herer from sensi but Arjans is a lot cheaper and probably as good,Go over to ic mag and they have good thread on how many people got those stretching ass seeds

i had one alaskan ice from amate who did a few, it grew up lanky as fck , no joke frm 15 inch to 4 ft tall in 2 weeks real stretchy ,,even though my blue cheese was compact so wasnt light distance. after 5 weeks in flower and still only budsites wit a few hairs i killed her as it was 2 mch to maintain with my shorter plants, having said that my mates are doing well not much bigger than his cheese, cant report on smoke as she still gt 1 week or so left. smells nice though. has taken 10 weeks in flower so far. the idea of a widow x haze is worth the effort though if u can find some gd ones out of a few.

I just finished a grow with some Alaskan Ice and would not recommend it to anyone. It stretched horrendously and grew extremely lanky. Only one of 5 actually produced any smokeable buds. The others just grew many tiny hairs.

thanks is there trainwreck good then.i grew there church i loved it.just a quick question.just b4 u chop ur plants 4 harvest leave them in dark for 3 days then chop it because it brings out more resin out.any truth in that?

i cannot testify to the growing of either jack herer or alaskan ice, but i did visit greenhouse coffee shop when i was in amsterdam and had the pleasure of smoking both these strains. alaskan ice was amazing, a sharp crisp taste that got me high as a kite. smoked it a few times in the morning, it doesnt bring you down at all. herer, from what i recall, was a bit more stoney, a bit more of a couch lock. granted, we sat in a room for an hour and ripped bongs, smoked like 5 bowls of it, so that might have something to do with its effect on me.

i think somebody mentioned himalayan gold on here too, ive seen it grown before by a friend of mine. it did so well that while i was in europe i picked up some greenhouse seeds (they dont ship/sell to US), some himalayan gold. im real excited to get started, but currently im raising some bagseed, working the kinks out of my grow op before i use any of my himalayan seeds.

thats real dissapointing about the alaskan ice, its such a wonderful strain, one of my favorites. i guess if you do grow the ice, and find a plant with good genetics, hold on to it and make it the mother to a sea of clones

I am running some Super Lemon Haze ( from green house) and Cheese (from Big buddah) I ordered both through Atitude seed and IMHO they did an awsome job getting me the seeds, I had them in my hot little hands within 2 weeks. I germed 5 of each femmed seed and all 10 seeds poped within 24 hours. They are in Veg right now, getting ready to go 12/12 but thus far no hermies and all are looking great I can't wait to smoke these ladies. Has any 1 played with these strains before?

FYI - Try Attitude (http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/index.php) They are not a seed company persay but more of a broker for ALOT of seed companies. imo gh seeds is weak...taking out males from there seed's means the normal person cant make beans for them selves...so i say fuck that...also arjan an franco are ballsacs imo....but speaking only on the AI i have seen too many reports of them being utlra poor yeilders an having a few 20weeks sat pheno's...not saying long flowering times are bad...just this shit sucks an has a long flowering time....az

strawberry haze is great, its about a 10 week flower, depending on how you do it. not too many issues in growing, pretty straightforward.
also a buddy of mine grew arjans ultra haze and loved it, but i cant vouch for growing it
