yep. about to put another grow under my belt.
I've got my last AK48 plant growing right now.
As of today, she's exactly 40 days into flowering (40 days since first set of pistils showed)
She's absolutely beautiful too.. the thing I can't get over is how fast this strain matures and flowers. It's amazing. She's 40 days into flowering as of today (already mentioned that I know).. but after only 40 days of flowering.. 95% to 98% of the pistils are brownish/reddish.. which tells me the calyxes are or have already swelled with resin.
I checked the trichs this morning..
here's the evaluation results of the trichs:
85% to 90% Milky/Cloudy
5% clear & 5% red/brown/amber
I could go ahead and harvest her today.. but I'm going to wait and give her another week (maybe 2) so that I give her more time for her trichs to mature and fill with resin... in order to give me a more desirable and potent final product.
I know how important and popular pictures are.. and I haven't posted a grow in the past 6 months or so. But, as God as my witness.. this weekend I'm going to buy a new digital camera.. so be sure and check back this weekend for pics of this beautiful AK plant. I also have my last 'Ice' plant in flower as well.. she's about 4 and 1/2 weeks into flowering and doing great! I'll include pictures of her too.
