ak47 cloning

Ok im new to this forum so bare with me, i also just started a grow journal but anyways heres my problem, ive grown the ak for about a year and a half now and i just cant seem to get consistent results when cloing, i have a 30 site ezclone and if i fill it up i might b lucky enought to get 6 or 8 living clones after 3 weeks, with previous strains skunk#1, and strawberry cough i could fill up the ezclone and have well rooted clones in a week an a half. So i have an experiment going on at the moment i have 10 cutting in the ezclone and 15 in the grow plugs with clonex (have read from other ppls experience that ak isnt as good for aero cloning) and suprisingly enough on day 4 the ezclone cuttings are starting off a little better, there all perkie and are starting to swell with new root development and the grow plugs are looking droopie. Any advice on taking successful clones from this strain, i find its easy to grow and very strong resistence to pests and weather (outdoor) but the cloning of this plant seems to always have difficultys for me. any advice? :wall:

day 6 and 6 of the 10 in the ezclone are looking good with little white feet, the other 4 are starting to turn brown at the ends so ill prolly just go ahead and take them out and just be happy for the 6 that are looking good, the 15 in the grow plugs are all standing up and looking perkie. Any tips for future clone techniques? an has any1 else had problems with hard to clone strains?

Hey there, I've always had good success with AK in oasis cubes and using dip-n-grow instead of Clonex. Clonex is a waste of $$ in my opinion. Dip-n-Grow is almost 1/3 the cost (12$) and roots faster than clonex.

thanks for the tip!, the clonex looks like its gonna work tho an it was a loner kind of thing anyways i normally always used the ezclone. Speakings of the ezclone its day 7 with the 10 ak and 7 of those are going strong and lookin good so ill prolly take them out the next couple of days, this is actually the best results ive had from this strain, how long does it normally take yours to take root?
