AK47 and WW

welll it's been 8 days... So day 21. They're getting big! sniff.

The AKs are about 5.5" and the Widows are about 4.5". They probably would have been taller if i raised the light sooner. whooops
Still no nutrients.. maybe in another week.

The bottom leaves started drying up on the tips about 5 days ago but it doesn't look like it's caused any problems with new growth. I'm not sure what caused it though?? It didn't spread too much so I'm not too worried about it.

the pics are labeled what is what.

They are looking good Wake. My Plants looked the same way with the bottom leaf, it's normal for that bottom one to yellow and drop.

bro you are going to love the ww it is one of my favs but its stinks a shit load you will have to do something about it

Looking great so far...Dont worry about nutes. FFOF has enough to take you into flowering....for the most part.

I absolutely love growing the AK47....Man it stinks though. My last go around with AK was in 100% perlite and I got almost 400g from the one plant. No topping, supercropping, NADA! Straight up grow bro

I have been growing off and on since the late 70's and believe it or not, I have never grown WW! I need to get some beans and give them a go round

I was actually just reading through your ak47/ppp journal a couple hours ago. ha!
It looked amazing!

I'm not sure if I am going to use nutes for the last week or 2 of vegging.. is Grow Big something I should look into getting? I've been debating.
The only thing i've added to the soil is a few extra cups of perlite and i'm planning on adding a small amount of h2o2 when watering from here on out. Is something like Grow Big going to make a noticeable difference? Or am I just going to complicate things?

heyy. these are some pics from a couple days ago. so.. day 27!

I put them in 3 gallon pots a couple days ago.. thats all i had room for in my box.
I think they're looking pretty healthy!
I'm not sure if they're stretching too much? I'm also not so sure if or when or.. how to prune. I've been looking around a bit. Finding mostly readings on topping and fimming. Not such great stuff on pruning.. anyone have some good video or guides I could watch/read?
I don't think I'm going to top, either.. I've got to do some reading first to see how new cola's form on AKs and Widows.

There's some weird random marks on a few of the leaves of my AKs. I'm not sure what they are. I was wondering if they were water spot burns or something. But it doesn't really get that hot and I don't spray them.. and some of the marks showed up yesterday morning after i hadn't watered for a couple days.

have my 400w hps stuff and mh convert coming next week.
hopefully i can pull some clones out when it comes :]

do you check your humidity or temp?

I bet you could figure out what those spots might be with some research, specifically noting that they are occurring between the veins.

yeah i never figured out what they were. but they didn't spread or anything, so i haven't worried about it..
The temps are ~80 in the day (a little high i know), and 70-73 at night.
They'll be cooler when move my box into the garage. humidity is pretty good! 45-55% usually.

the runt has 2 nodes with 3 bud sites so far.. looks like a 3rd is coming. sweeet.

ok, soo. my hps is arriving tomorrow! niccee. i was planning on starting 12/12 on monday.

BUT i was watering them today.. and i noticed something that made me scratch my head.
Looks like 3 of them started sexing. Probably all of them have, but i can only tell for sure on 3.

I'm really not sure what happened.. they've been under 24/0 light.

I guess the seeds were just autoflowering..? I guess I'll have to ask now eh?!

Anyway... Advice?
- Should I switch all my CFLs out today with 2700k? and use them only until tomorrow? i don't know if i'm hermi-ing them by not using the 12/12 cycle for the last week?

Nothing to worry about there, I notice some asymetrical branching as well. That just means they are getting ready, but it won't stress them to wait a bit for the HPS.

Wellll. I installed my 400W HPS and moved my box to a cooler area. I'll start flowering on monday.

So, officially, 2 were male, 2 were female. 1 of each. hah. took some clones from the females and everything is looking great!

AK47 is 14", the WW is 12". no problems with any so far.. here's some pics

AK47 shot uppp. 20" and rising. WW is 16" and growing fast as well.
I have 4 clones (2 each) that should be ready to be potted tomorrow!

can see the topped WW is doing pretty well. getting really bushy.

clones arent ready yet. a day or 2 probably..

still looking good my man. nice work on the clones, I took 5 and lost all but one, its been about a month and a half and NOW FINALLY it is growing. glad I didn't give up.
