Air pots

Hey guys so I plan on having 7 plants in my 5x5, and I will use air pots instead of fabric since it’s humid here. What you guys think about air pots?

They are better than any other I’ve used. Only issue I find is keeping them watered.

You let them dry out too much and the water runs out the sides.

Instead what I do now is use 1L airpots for the first 10-14 days then transplant them into their final solid pot.

This stops any root bounding as it establishes its root system and also the air pruning makes the roots much quicker at finding the new space when transplanted which helps minimise any stunting.

I had excellent success with APs, top feeding via Hydro Halo Drip Rings. My media was lava rock. I watered every 30+ minutes. I wish I kept the pictures, the plants were beastly
