AG space...and the lack there of

ok so obviously i knew when buying the AeroGarden that i would have space issues, so if you came to tell me that they suck, go die. if not, then I'd really appreciate some imput; I'm close to 5 weeks in and am am having serious overlapying and shadowing issues with my mini-jungle. I have 7 plants ranging from like a 12-6 inches, all with 7-8 tiers of leaves... what should I do when my big ones are overcasting the little guys?? I don't want to cut off important fan leaves...should I just sex ASAP and then remove the males??

I would say tie them down. I have a aerogarden but dont use it for weed. So what are you going to do about the roots when you kill the males?

I wasnt sure... I was gonna maybe just cut the male at the start of it's roots in the sponge, let the roots die, then remove them. can anyone see any problems w this method??
