Hey
So far all my grows except the last one have been Flood N Drain DIY systems In built. They worked great but I switched to a aeroponic system last year a pump, pvc and little spar nozles, the results were great but it was a terrible time keeping them up right, aligned, anyway it was just a real hassle compared to the FND system.
What Ive done now is built another system a really simple system, I just attached small tubing to the pump and run it up around the edge of the tote and poked holes in it. Works great water sprays out covers everything and no maintenance.
My question is what is the difference between the little spray nozzles/ tubing set up i made and the drip system? Both wet the roots at intervals and roots are suspended in air. Not sure the difference? Ive never used the drip system, but have seen people use it with clay pellets and rock wool cubes.... so whats the difference?
