The strain I’m currently growing 2 strains on my aeroponics table I built and both strains are roughly 6 inches at this point but have 7-8 nodes? Has anyone else heard of this I’m trying to figure out why they have no stretch like my other DWC grows

I have 2 SF4000 and yes RO water. The only other grow I have is a DWC using the same nutrients I used on a Blueberry Strain you see in the attached pictures only difference is method and an additional light

Yeah I wanna figure out what my favorite method is so far I was most successful with dwc this branching issue has me worried lol

I run a flood and drain so this is only a theory......
I think H&S was right about the rock wool being too wet. How many roots have exited the wool? My guess is that since your plants are small, 80-90% of their current root system is still inside of that soggy rock wool.
If I am correct, stop watering the rock wool for a while. Do not let them get bone dry, however. If you have some roots exiting the rock wool, make sure they are getting water.
If I am right, this problem should fix itself over time. For now, you have shorties.
P.S. Next time either use 90% less rock wool (it is only there to hold your seed, so it can be tiny) or, even better, replace the rock wool with a tiny net cup filled with hydroton. I switched from rock wool to rocks years ago due to similar issues.

I agree. The best medium is no medium, IMO
So I went into the room and pulled the Rockwool out of the 4 healthiest that has the same issues of super close nodes to do a comparison of them next to the ones in rockwool to see if it corrects itself. I was gonna do them all like that but 4 plants in and lots of damage to roots later I started rethinking it lol I’ll give it two weeks see if there is improvement.
Do you just go from seed to collar?

Yes.
I currently go directly from seedling to collar. I germinate in a moist paper towel until they are 1.5" long or so, long enough to fit safely in a collar.
At that point they are still too small to put in my flood and drain. They would be too small for your DWC as well. The roots aren't long enough yet.
I take the tiny collared plant and sit it in damp perlite for a week or two (basically a tiny hempy) until the roots grow several inches long. Once the roots are long enough I gently spoon out the plant, rinse off the perlite, and drop the collared plant into my system.
I hate perlite as much as I hate rockwool but unlike rockwool, it's super hard to overwater and is reusable if you want. And for this use, you barely need much of it. (ProTip: wet perlite is way easier to work with than dry perlite)

Short with a lot of nodes? Nothing is wrong, your lighting just likely has a good amount of blue spectrum in it.

Excessive P will cause short plants with extremely close internodes. Some plants are most sensitive than others to P.
I have an Exotic Genetix plant that looks just like yours. The direct result of my dumbass watering a couple veg plants with my bloom (higher P) mix after grabbing the wrong jug.
