with the aero flo 2 system do you put a plant in every single hole or do you skip a hole. reason for asking is im wondering will the roots clogg up the water drainage way and is there enough room for all of those root to grow if the plants were placed side by side?

I'm not familiar with it and would never buy one, but I think your intuition is right. That much crowding is for a grow of small plants. I don't know how big a plant could get in one of those, but I'm sure they would get bigger with more space.

haha hate GH much?

the aeroflo 2 is really well made. Most DIY aeroponic systems will use ez clone sprayers or some similar item. The aeroflo has a unique spraying system that is fairly easy to clean, and produces a much finer and even mist throughout the chamber. I honestly don't know if the fine mist matters as much as the full coverage.

About root space- Hydroponic plants will require not a large root area. For example: Flood tables growers will pack 5x5" grow containers into 3x3' tables and grow quick and short. imagine how much more space each of your aeroflo2 plants will have in a 7' tube and a resevoir at the end...rather than 5x5" grow container in a flood table. I am not hating on flood tables...they are awesome...but u will have slightly more root space/ plant in a aeroflo vs. flood table growing SOG is the point.

about lighting-this unit will require a lot of light.

It's really not worth arguing that SOG is a bad idea by the way. It is entirely up to what the individual requires.

*note* somebody is going to b a dbag is mention u can put pebbles and other media under flood containers. You are correct for the win. saved u the trouble.

I have the aeroflo2 18 site and mine works great I put 18 in with a decent root system at about 12"-14"

I probably have more than 25 grow cycles on my 3 Aeroflos, and plant in every hole. Never had a problem with roots getting too big. One bit of advice, don't let your clones get over 18 or 19 inches in veg before you go into flower. If you do, you will get out of hand with plant size. I typically vege for 19 days, and flower for 56. Also, less is more as far as nutes go.

800 to 1000 ppm. I used to go as high as 1600, but found it counter-productive.
GH 3 part, weeks 2 to 5 AN Big Bud, weeks 6 to 8 AN Overdrive. I use about half strength the recommended amount of BB and OD.
My plant height is usually about 46 inches which is still manageable with the AF.

cool stuff...I never imagined vegging that long. You should be fine transferring right out of the clone tray 2 flower.

also cool stuff on the ppm's hidden dragon. Gh recommends reallllly high ppm's at times and I never knew whether to push that or not...I suppose with certain genetics.

I also topped out around 1000-1100 using the GH 3 part. Curious if this is before or after the additives. What is the ppm with additives?

What ppm do you give them fresh out of the clone tray?
